The 698 is those for truly want the “full klone” experience from the diode type and voltage, down to both capacitor and resistor values AND material type. Authentic Davies 1400 knobs into a tightly chromed enclosure!

For those familiar with my main line klone “The Klon-a-pin,” This has more of a “warmer” some say more vintage vibe to it. The 698 is a great choice for those looking to drive blues amps, and solid state amps that could use more detailed but perfectly compressed overdriven sound. 

The Klon-a-pin 698 features:

-1n34a NOS Germanium diodes tested at nearly exact .35 forward voltage

-a mix of Polyester film, tantalum, and electrolytic capacitors

-mix of metal 1% and carbon 5% based resistors via schematic

-Ultrasonic cleaned circuit

-Super chrome powder coat with clear coat for aged look

-“Centaur” style klon-a-pin vinyl labeling

-AUTHENTIC DAVIES 1400 Oxblood Knobs

-5mm red LED with polished chrome bezel 

-Hand wired, painted, soldered, and prepared with one pair of hands out of NJ
